"They're waking up."

The scene was constructed using Modo where plant models come from the Plant Factory. Most of the heavy duty rendering occurred on my local machine taking about 1 hour to render a 4k image along with several render passes for later usage. The 2D stylization was done using Synthetik StudioArtist 5, which utilizes a very unique AI painting method to produce a variety of appearances. In this case I went with 80% manual painting where 20% was done by the program.
